Thread: Subdomains Questions

Hey guys, long time no chat I hope you are all well.

I am wanting to install wordpress and enable multisite so I can create multiple blogs but I am wondering a few things first.

1. I have a forum installed at the root and I would want the wordpress installation installed at say home.whatever.com would this cause issues with the URLs for the multisite blogs? I cant imagine how the URL structure would be.

2. When using multisite can I allow for the blog owners to choose their own themes from pre-installed ones?

Any advice would be appreciated as I have never delved into such a project.
