WCAG 2.0 launched

The Web Accessibility Initiative's (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 was finally made a World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Recommendation (web standard) on the 11th December, almost 10 years after version 1.0 was first published.

WCAG 2.0 is best thought of as a set of 4 documents, all supporting each other:
  • The first is main WCAG 2.0 document, containing the guidelines
