Me and my brother are looking into creating a site related to gaming and are trying to gather some additional info about people's habits. I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to fill out a survey that we have created.

Honestly, we are split at the moment. We have a rough idea of what we want to do but need to do a lot of research to see if it feasible. The site must be profitable so if after we have completed our research our idea falls apart we will probably look into another less competitive area.

I until recently was a HUGE gaming fan and always had the latest games/consoles and accessories. I was in the "#2 Call of Duty 4" clan on GameBattles which is the biggest gaming community on the net with over 300 million members. I know the demand for "I want it NOW" from gamers that take this as professional gaming. There's people out there that make a living from playing games in tournaments and are classed as professional gamers earning very good money from beating there opponents.

Going back to your "Online business" make sure you do your research and get yourself a wholesaler in Hong Kong that can be trusted. Hong Kong has different laws than the rest of China so your covered by Hong Kong's laws on counterfiet products. Where-as the rest of China is completely different. The key to you making this a success is "research, research and more research, also getting games/consoles and accessories sourced from the right wholesaler. Don't use DropShippers unless you really have to, 9/10 times if the product doesn't turn up because the Dropshippers are not very good your customers will blame you and you will get the bad feedback. So try get yourself a few wholesalers and stick with them, build a repore and then after some time you can start getting bigger discounts from them for your loyalty.

Oh 1 last thing. Don't buy any rubbish that is sold on eBay for wholesalers and dropshippers Ok it's complete garbage.

I would go a different route and just set up a games review website; you review new games as and when they come out.

You then make money out of selling advertising spots on your website.

If you wanted to try and make some extra cash, then you could set up an amazon affiliates store that links to the games you are reviewing.
