30 Jun 2011 @ 16.49 I liked the paperclip holding together several contacts at once when you drag them into a circle

30 Jun 2011 @ 19.00 Nay, I invited my other gmail account. There is an option to 'Join Google+' but when you click on it, instead of being taken to the join screen you just reach the default Google+ homepage with the message that it has reached capacity. I think they may have patched how I got in.. that or closed it for last generation accounts.

1 Jul 2011 @ 07.59 I tell you something i really like that is missing from facebook, the ability to add people using their email address. If they don't want to put any data into Google+ they can still be involved (sharing pictures etc). This is something facebook is crying out for, i have friends who simply won't join facebook and it needs this feature. Once they sort out the calendar integration so i can organize events this way too; it means nobody will need to be left out as is the case currently with facebook.
If i have missed something here and all this is possible in facebook, i take it all back and will need somebody to show me how to do this

1 Jul 2011 @ 08.18 Yeah, that does look like a good feature, and I think you're right you can't do it in Facebook, it just sends people an email to join Facebook... which if they don't want to do for whatever reason, they probably won't.
I guess it's a security thing for Facebook as they don't allow anyone to view anyone else's profile unless they are 'friends', well there is the 'share this album to the public' feature, but I've never even bothered to look how it works heh

1 Jul 2011 @ 08.24 I don't want to share my private holiday snaps with the world. You want people to be allowed to see things via their email address or limited (no data) account, i think most people have a Google account even if they don't know it.
I think Facebook needs this email integration, i know technically you could create a profile on Facebook with no data in it (Dennis has) but it doesn't notify people who haven't even got a profile of events in Facebook...which is frustrating, all i need is for it to send my buddy who isn't on Facebook an email about the event I've just organised, it draws people into the ecosystem as well which is very smart. I agree though I've never investigated the public feature of Facebook it kind of scares me.....Last edited by djhope; 1 Jul 2011 at @ 08.40.

4 Jul 2011 @ 14.11 It looks like invitations have been closed off. And you need to be 18 to register, anyways. I guess I'll have to wait until the public release.

From what I've seen, though, it looks amazing. The demo is absolutely spectacular. If the final product is as well thought-out and intuitive as the demo, this will be an amazing product. I think Google is onto something here.
Don't hangouts seem like a really cool idea?
