    Default HTML to WordPress - tutorials? 16 Aug 2012 @ 22.13

I want to get into developing templates for WordPress.

Currently I use Concrete5 which is super simple for an interface designer like me to convert an html file over to c5 by adding a few php lines.

From what I have read and seen, WordPress seems to be much more difficult. Can anyone tell me a nice, concise tutorial on how to convert? Thanks.

Its not that difficult - mark your design up in html/css then copy and paste headers, footers, create different pages for different templates. You do have to bear in mind the 'loop' but if you follow the comprehensive documentation you should be fine.

Saying that, you can make it a lot more difficult - it just depends what is required.
