Does anyone know anything about editing VTS VOB Files? I have some DVD's of a friend fighting in the Olympics in 1995 when he won the Gold in Judo. His wife has asked me to make the footage i have into a nice little DVD with menus etc etc. I have tried using 'Windows Movie Maker' but for some reason it has trouble reading VTS_VOB files. Is there anything else i can do? Or would i be better off converting it to a different file format and if so what and how? Thanks for any replys given. P.S She wants this for his birthday coming up and it was footage she got from ITV studios Archive. So he doesn't know it exists... Its coverage of all the fights building right up to the finals then him winning the Gold Medal for the UKAlso i have just realised i have listed this into the wrong section. Can Admin move it to the MultiMedia section for me. My apologies for listing it here, i don't know why i did... Last edited by Wrams; 23rd May 2009 at 09:30 PM.. |

have a look at videohelp.com, i used to create my own dvd's ages ago, it can be as complex as you like or as simple as you like. Adobe Premier is one of the favourite video editors, but that costs money.. videohelp.com should list some stuff on there for free video editing. but you need to realise this is a 2 stage process, you are: 1) creating a video by editing together footage. 2) converting that video to a dvd format.
