Default New Year New Site

Thought I'd start the New Year by writing a new business plan. Got bored with that so started doodling.

Not sure if its the bottle of Night Nurse I've been chugging on all day or what, but instead of moving forward a year I seem to be jumping 40 years back :)

Anyway, still primarily at concept stage, so lacking nav and such, but I'd be interested in peoples thoughts so far. Other than mentioning that the site will be my portfolio site, I'm not going to say much else. Do I continue or do I book myself into the Betty Ford clinic?!?!

I will be honest..

I am not completely convinced about that design, I know you are capable of some really great work, and for your own site I would expect allot more..

sounds harsh but it is truthful... sorry mate

I like it somewhat, it is different and I have never seen anything like it. I think it would look awesome with some buttons added to the front of the tv like shape to go through your portfolio.

Ouch Glynn :D

I love the background - but looking at it with fresh eyes, the green foreground has to go.

I was thinking of some 70's style tv, Michael. I'll have a play today and see what can be done.

I don't think the background and foreground colours mix well, but I love the design.

Also the heading font looks really poop

Lol, you guys ain't got no soul!! Of course the colours were meant to clash!

I'm currently familiarising myself with html5 at the moment but will get back to this later.
