8 Jan 2011 @ 10.38 After much blood sweat and tears (hence my dissapearance from here for so long!!!) the site is nearing completion and im looking at opening for trade soon and i would love for some feedback on the site, i am aware of some discrepancies between latest firefox and ie (text size) and decided i could live with that but any other browser issues that are flagged i would appreciate if you could let me know those too, im looking for good and bad critique so please don't be gentle

The website is in showcase mode so prices aren't currently displayed, feel free to make accounts or do whatever you need to
thanks x bonnie x

10 Jan 2011 @ 09.53 Hi Bonnie, great to have you pop back in.
I only have a couple of comments:
Header:
I would move the navigation / shopping cart are to the top of the page and make it stand out a little. Maybe a lighter purple going the full length of the top background? This will also push your main banner header down to make it feel part of the site, rather than the weird float affect it currently has.
Main area:
I would also move the “New products” up to above the text area so that it entices people to look at your products. I would also add a “hot products” area under this (even if it is made up for now).
Left navigation – login area:
Make create an account more of a feature
Other:
There doesn’t appear to be a search function?
I would really consider creating a Facebook group for this. It will help drive people to your site and create awareness.

10 Jan 2011 @ 12.19 This appears to be a good list of things to include (although some are questionable): 27 things I need to see on an e-commerce homepage | Econsultancy
