IMPORTANT - READ FIRST: Critique Guidelines
24 Feb 2009 @ 12.08 Please feel free to type your own feedback, but remember that all critiques should be a positive experience for the poster. If you are struggling then the below should help steer you in the right direct to give a positive and helpful critique:
- Be honest in your critique but ensure you try not to be overly negative; try to find positives wherever possible.
- Try to provide a rounded critique, focusing on all elements of the design, usability, code, and basic seo.
- Be specific about what you like / dislike about the site / mock up.
- Provide ideas on design alternatives and provide examples.
- Compare the design to others to help explain your ideas / thoughts.
- Feedback your thoughts on the use of / lack of design elements and principles: contrast, repetition, alignment, proximity, color, unity & balance.
- Respect the designer and their work. Never get lost in a negative critique.
