I have created a website called Global Direct Savings. It is an online membership/marketing package. It is good to get sound feedback. I have seen the site too many times to be objective. I would be happy to do the same for anyone else. Thanks. Irma

the design itself is not too bad, it has a nice 'sunshine' feel but I have to let you know of some major flaws in your coding

the biggest is that frames are a very big no no in web development.. they are never a good idea
using tables is almost as bad ( as I see you have used them too )
and lastly, find and correct those html errors here The W3C Markup Validation Service

I agree, it looks good.
Some things that I would look into, design-wise...
On the drop-down menus, it goes to that I cursor thing that happens when you go over text. Put in
Code:
element{
  cursor: pointer;
}
Or whatever CSS code to make it a pointer, make it more consistent.

Also the yellow on the light blue from within those drop-downs, when you mouse-over, isn't too easy on the eyes...

Also, for the menu on the left hand side, look into CSS mouseover effects. Your current JavaScript solution is very slow.

And lastly, the 'Join Today' button looks like a low-quality JPEG? I would redo that, it doesn't seem to fit in.

This is all just constructive criticism, nit-picking though - the site does look very good :)

The top half is good, but you need to get rid of that scrolling marquee section which says GDS promotions, and the 'Welcome Advertisers' text further down looks lost in the surrounding white space.

Although the main images on the front page which fade in and out are very good, why not use Javascript to achieve the same effect with less effort than Flash?

I'd also add an a:hover (text-decoration: underline;} for the navigation.

But good site, I'm trying not to be too critical!

I like the feel of the site, but think that some things could have been done better if giving more time and focus.

In your logo the word “Global” is half lost under the outer ring. The other words are all inside. The tag line "GDS is the GPS of life" doesn't make sense to me and, even though it is lost on me, corniness isn’t.

I think the navigation is a little lsot. I would love the see the faded background on the “new advertisers” button on the navigation.

The scroll bars are going at differing speeds, one looks like Road Runner and the other Wiley Coyote.

Overall, as I said above, this is a good looking site that just needs a few tweaks

Hope that helps.
