vertical scrollbar in opera
14 Feb 2011 @ 01.01 my question is about vertical scrollbar only in opera
in opera there is a huge vertical scrollbar that is being created by the browser and this happens only in opera no other browser
i noticed when i scroll a few times in opera when the huge scrollbar is not present and later a huge vertical scrollbar appears and sometimes by default when i click on a page this huge vertical scrollbar appears
how to avoid this unwanted huge vertical scrollbar in opera i am using opera 9

14 Feb 2011 @ 02.29 Most people try to force a vertical scrollbar to ensure there is no horizontal jump when navigating from a short page to a longer one. I assume this is the scrollbar you are referring to - if not pls post a link and a screen of what you see.
There are several workarounds to get a vertical scrollbar to appear in all (most) browsers, but doubt you can do it the other way around.
Edit: if you're calling it huge because it surpasses the content, you'll definitely need to post a live link.
