I would rather learn the basics of web development and design and create some stunning looking sites that are valid and only once I know it all or as much as possible, move onto learning PHP, it is a little advanced for me to get stuck into right now :)

I agree with you Michael 100%. Once i have done what you said then i will move on to.

I prefer to learn what will truly be more useful for myself and html and css is more useful to me right now than php, I cant wait to get making logins for websites and custom modifications for vbulletin but that day will come :)

I done a sign up to see what it's all about on your free php lessons site and in the email it says "Please note that you should have an excellent knowledge of HTML. My lessons do not cover these basics and we wont be able to progress if you don't have the required knowledge." maybe change that a little :)

Im not sure if there is meant to be any images but on my gmail there isnt any. It doesnt ask to show images at all either.
