Please look at ........full page expandable imagefronted website
11 Jan 2012 @ 11.00 Hi everyone,
I have the educational version of dreamweaver CS5 and associated packages.
I am trying to make my first site. There is a website I really like and would like to know if someone can identify the plugin or software they are using to create there full page expandable image-based slide show/photo gallery with floating text and layers. I contacted DW user and they told me to use easyrotator. I have done this but cannot recreate what I see at Natural High - Safaris and Wilderness Travel. Also please notice how there slide show differs every time you re-enter the site.
Thank you for your advise

11 Jan 2012 @ 11.42 That's a sweet site. I think it is custom built. I have had a look at the source code and there is nothing that is popping out.
Obviously they are using jQuery and this library: jQuery.fracs · larsjung.de
Neither explains the great work on their site though. It looks like a proper company as well so its not really surprising that they are running a bespoke website instead of leveraging some open-source libraries.

11 Jan 2012 @ 11.46 This site makes heavy use of jquery, a javascript framework. To get a better grasp on what javascript is doing, turn it off to see how the site looks without (probably best to have the site up in two different browsers so you can see both with and without).
The primary use here seems to be image carousels combined full screen image resizing and random first slide. It's possible there is an existing plugin out there that covers all these bases but more than likely, judging by their js file, they wrote their own.
As well as the carousel system, there is some DOM manipulation - hiding some elements, repositioning the navbar etc.

11 Jan 2012 @ 14.16 Super cool, I like that site.
Have a look here for a starter for 10: Supersized - Full Screen Background Slideshow jQuery Plugin

12 Jan 2012 @ 13.50 Thanks for your comments everyone. Thanks too to Welshstew for a good recommendation with "Supersized" but do you or anyone else know of a good tutorial to teach step by step guide for starting this plugin in Dreamweaver? The supersized site offers very little information on how to open up its files in DW as they presume you already have the basics. Again would be very grateful for any help help here. Thanks
