I am sorry to bother you all again, but feel my post above just was somehow forgotten. I really would like an answer to my questions. |

Hey gennaro, You do not need to register with those sites to use the icons. You can download them and use them for free. INtegrating them is a bit more tricky. If you look below this post and below yours, you will see some small icons which are to the most popular social bookmark sites (digg, delicious, etc). When you click on that it will take you to a page asking to add the details of the site in so it can be added to the database on that particular site. I'll write up a short tutorial on how to do so.

Salve Jack! Thank you for your reply. I understand the icons and I understand the links. I also looked at the code on this page to see how you call the sites. For example: HTML Code: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwebprocafe.com%2Fseo-search-engine-optimisation-and-search%2F561-social-bookmarks.html&title=Social+Bookmarks" target="_blank">Digg this Thread!</a> HTML Code: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwebprocafe.com%2Fseo-search-engine-optimisation-and-search%2F561-social-bookmarks.html&title=Social+Bookmarks" target="_blank">Add Thread to del.icio.us</a>
I hope I made myself clearer than before. |

Genarro, that would all depend on how your site is generated. Is it a flat site, i.e. html documents and you update each one individually, or do you use a content management system, such as wordpress?

I have to agree with brook1987 (above). I also use addthis.com The benefits being: - only 1 bit of code to install - only 1 bit of code to maintain - additional features (send to friend, browser bookmark, etc) |

I use Tell-a-friend at Tell-a-Friend: Word of Mouth Marketing made simple If you have a blog you can set it so that it is added automatically at the bottom of each post. If you have HTML pages you would have to add it to each page. |
