No..SEO will not stop but yes as everything do require changes as per time so it will also change but will not stop. May be linking process can be stop or change or it can be move ahead with the brand promotion or google can change the algorithm.

Google just updating its own algorithm so you can got the impression that gogle going to stop seo. At this time google comes more hard for spammers and he hit some white hat seo's as well. Google only indexing the pages and not ding soe.

No No , How can Google Does SEO by Itself ? You are wrong . Google Updates its Algorithm and add Filters for Web Spammers .As the main purpose is to provides best to Search users , Google Comes with new Updates . If talking about Future with SEO it really seems no future or say totally Google dependent . But A good web design and its Optimization itself work more Now-days . I found Websites with Well Designed and Optimized according to Niche have with top Search ranking .This shows relevancy is more important with Web page . Google show only relevant and reliable web pages for Query Result basis .
