Default Web design and development Magazine launched 7 May 2009 @ 09.58

We are happy to announce that we have launched a web design and development magazine !

We aim to bring you regular articles and tutorials covering all aspects of web design and development, as well as industry interviews from some fantastic people to help inspire you.

Just click on "Magazine" in the top navigation to read and comment.

Our first edition contains some killer articles as well as some regular features. We are very delighted to bring you an interview with Dan Wellman, javascript expert and published author; Glynn Alexander takes us on an in-depth tour of HTML doctypes and which is the best one to choose for your website; whilst Stewart Griffiths shows us how to make cross browser compatible transparent PNGs without the hacks.

On top of all this we have a whole host of regular features. In the first of many explorations into current and emerging web design trends, we look at coffee as a design element. We provide you with some design inspiration, showcasing some of the fantastic designs out there on the net. And finally Jack has whipped up a video tutorial myself on Creating a Slick Javascript Image Gallery.

A huge thanks must go out to the contributors and development team for pulling this together; although most of the praise must be held back for Jack Franklin for his inspirational drive to push through this new exciting era for our forum.

We hope that you enjoy our Magazine and will visit us often to check out the new content.

    Enjoy.

p.s. if you have an idea for a article or tutorial then please contact us.

I like it. Was especially interested in the article about transparent PNGs without hacks. Seems like a good option if you need a limited-color image have some transparency.

It's great, much better than a newsletter could have been.
Is this going to be monthly?

There's an rss-feed you can subscribe to. (I did)

Thanks very much. Shinyshadow is correct, use this link to subscribe: WebProCafe Magazine

As for updates, it'll be monthly to begin with the view to move to an ad hoc basis - so could eventually be every hour of every day :D
